Week 3-4 Hello Everyone! I am truly enjoying working with your children! They are kind, polite, and really a neat group. We have a nice bunch of students who know more about technology than I do. That will certainly help me this year! There has been so much going on in this classroom. The students have definitely gotten into a routine this week. Work ethic, sharing, thinking about their learning, are just a few things that are quickly improving as our class gets up to speed. There are a few reminders for you: 1. Any fundraising forms that haven't been handed in should be handed in as soon as possible. New plushies and forms have been delivered to school. Please let me know if you need anything. 2. Students are bringing home a student information form for your review. Please look this form over and make sure all of the information is correct on it. After that, please make any necessary changes, sign it, and return it to me as soon as possible. 3. Book Orders: Orders should be here next week! 4. Band begins next week. Students have calendars: Flutes- Monday, Clarinet-Tuesday, Sax-Wednesday, Trumpet-Thursday, and Trombone-Friday. Band is first lunch block. That means students got to band first and then have lunch the second lunch. Saxophone students have lunch first as usual and band second lunch. I have a schedule hanging in the classroom for students as well. If students forget their instruments, they are still expected to go to band. If anyone is absent, they need to see Mrs. Graichen when they get back to school for a practicing assignment.
